I will gladly trade you if you want one built later in the year ;).

Being in Corvallis, I don't go to Duck territory much, but Off the Waffle is my favorite brunch place in Eugene. That and the Beer Garden are good reasons for a visit to Eugene.

I also imagine scheduling the train cars and transport trailers and drivers takes some doing 'once' the OKTB is actually released - I doubt all these commodities are sitting around unused until the announcement....

Got an update from my dealer, last status update for my Truck was May 12th, off-site (probably getting Bed Liner Sprayed) and then they said the word they are getting is “by summer”

I just emailed my dealer to send me my visibility report. I will let you know what it says when I get it.

My update was 11th. Status was “delayed” - I did not order factory bed liner.

Damn. Well it’s looking like it’s going to be a while and those Trucks shipped out were most likely dealer Mannequins. To me it seems Ford wants real world data before releasing regular customer trucks.

BTW, the other build weeks seem to be moving much faster with modules popping a day after Blend Date. What I feared is most likely happening. Being an early build doesn’t pay off as the truck goes to the back of the line and those coming off the line get shipped first. This was happening with the ICE and is happening again

My last update was on May 10th and still shows the same statement that was on the 4/21 update. My previous update was 4/21 that said sent to plant, the latest update is now 5/10 Produced and it still shows that same statement from before.

"ETA Pending Final Launch Readiness Sign Off Expected Spring 2022".

This was mostly expected. Ford always holds new designs for extra quality control (Batch and Hold system).

F50L is certainly going to have a lot more scrutiny, so probably held on to them longer than normal.

Will see if the next two weeks of builds see a change given that they are Officially shipping them out.

Curious for those who got a Vehicle Visibility report from your dealer. What, if any, ramp is your truck on? I found out my truck was completed and returned from the body shop (spray in bed liner) on 05/11. It has sat in Ramp 59 ever since.

When you google Ramp 59 you can see it's a parking lot across the street from the plant and not parked near the the Ford loading ramps (like we saw in Jim Farley's tweets). Also when you google Ramp 59, many suggest it's more of a long term holding lot (ie parts, chips). My order has the same "waiting for final approval" notes the rest of us have seen.

I actually called Ford and they could not tell me what state the truck was in. It was suggested that the final approval they are waiting for is an actual employee signing off that each truck is ready to go and that factor is determined by many things. The Ford CSC rep was nice, but really didn't have much information.

Well from what I saw during last year's chip shortage debacle there were pant-loads of forum members trucks sitting in the dreaded "Lot 59" and when they found out that's where it was it was like "abandon hope, all ye who enter here". I realize many trucks did emerge from there and eventually got shipped, but I'm really glad mine wasn't one of the ones that got sent to purgatory there. Small furry creatures, rust, etc.....

How did you find out it's in Ramp 59? From a visibility report, or from the rep you talked to? thx

Ford I think is hiding that they do have a chip shortage issue @Mike G is correct about Ramp59 being the graveyard for ICE F-150’s.

This morning I went to Activate my Lightning on Ford Pass and I received an error message. A couple things of concern for me is that when pressing Activate it seems as if the Truck is already activated by someone else

Ford F-150 Lightning ✅ 5/2 Lightning Build Week Group 2B7379E7-C111-4A0A-9235-1033710D6D56

Did anyone else receive this message when pressing activate? I have not “logged” in before with Ford Pass, it doesn’t make sense. Unless it’s in regard to my ICE F-150

And I also receive this message:

Ford F-150 Lightning ✅ 5/2 Lightning Build Week Group 0DF13F02-6E1E-4E80-97A2-5961C2F5F911

What Authorization rights? Would I still be able to add this VIN to my Ford Pass if someone else had already added it to theirs and activated this vehicle?

I am hoping no one is going around taking VIN numbers, adding them to their Ford Pass and Activating them to track these trucks. Is that even possible or am I being paranoid?

Anyway, back to the original question, I do think there is something more than just QC

Well I'm not too worried about rust and small furry creatures as the lot is right across the street from RVEC and the other lots. So if the animals and rust are in lot 59, they are across the street too.

I'm hopeful this is just an overflow storage lot. I mean, it's better than sitting around the Dearborn track which is much further away and certainly has more furry creatures. Is it possible they are just using every free parking space they can in Dearborn?

How did you find out it's in Ramp 59? From a visibility report, or from the rep you talked to? thx
Yes, the visibility report my dealer had and the Ford rep confirmed it. So it's last movement was from the body shop to Ramp 59 last week. Your dealer can easily pull that up for you too. It will be the most recent movement at the top of the report. If you get the info from your dealer, please share.

Forgot to add,

My visibility report just says “In Production” and Secondary “Sent off Site” but hasn’t been updated since May 12th, I am assuming this is the spray in liner.

As far as I know, no one has received a check mark on Production or Built yet
