A quick side note. I traded in my Mach-E first edition last month. I put 18,000 miles on it in one year and two weeks. I bought it for 61K, dealer gave me 59K trade in and sold it for 65K! I'll be saving around 3K in sales tax on the Lightning. I've been driving my Roush P-51 Mustang since then (love that car) but the Lightning will be my daily driver.

Sounds like everybody won on that deal!
I hope to finagle a similar trade with my barely driven F250 PSD, even though it's older, they are going for premium value in todays market. 6.25% sales tax credit for the trade value helps mitigate any shortage of trade value against aggravation of making a private sale, weeks later.

But how do you get the CN?

No need….it should be the same rail car & number…they just switch the locomotives. My understanding is only a catastrophic event would necessitate a change in rail car….
