Deployable running boards - Can these be ordered yet?

I know this means waiting a bit, does anyone know if deployable running boards can be added to orders yet.

Unforunately my dealer never gets back to me or has answers my question. I'd like to save a long drive in to see them.

I added them to mine after I spoke with my dealer. They indicated that it wouldn't cause any delays. However I don't have a production date yet. I saw on one of the FB groups that someone ordered a platinum with them and it was built awaiting shipment.

A question for those who have these boards, is there a substantial change in distance from ground to board, if they reduce the distance I might look into an upgrade, the wife is struggling to make the ground to board step, if it were a little lower it might improve her experience.

Just to be clear for people that read this thread later. You have aftermarket boards and not the stock power running boards from the factory.

There is a difference between the stock power running boards and the AMP Research boards. The stock boards on the 2021+ trucks are made by Magna, not AMP.

The stock Magna boards are louder and they don't go as close to the ground as the aftermarket, or previous gen, AMP boards.

So frustrating. I wanted them, they're only a $255 upgrade, but no way to order when I confirmed. Now my only option is to do aftermarket. Whether I do the Ford OEM ones (Magna) or the AMP PowerStep XL, it's pretty much the same end product but will run me $2K after install.... Meh...

I've had them on a couple other vehicles. They're great.

Wow 255 I wish I could have got them for that.

what did the 2018 expedition maxs have? That’s the only power one I’ve used and they’re much lower than any solid ones I’ve used
