I did not think the truck would’ve depreciated so much. I was wrong. I just don’t want to find out if I am wrong again.
My idea was to keep it for 10-12 years. Again, I just do not want to find out if it will make it etc.
But then again, with my luck, in 3 months gas prices go to 6$![]()
Dude, you have poor financial literacy. If you're expecting to keep a car 10+ years, then depreciation does not matter at all. Most of the depreciation is done in the first 3 years of a vehicles life. Holy smokes, this is why finance should be taught at an early age. You poor soul.
