Best intel is they will quit asking for our reports and we keep the cameras. Hopefully the app will keep working, otherwise the system becomes electronic waste.Does anyone know when this beta ends? And what happens then?
I got an update a few weeks ago or so that seemed to fix that battery drain problem.Is anybody else having difficulty keeping the battery charged? I don’t drive every day but I drove 2 1/2 hours each on Friday and Sunday and the battery is already at 8%. The truck sits in my garage and doesn’t have a lot of activity near the bed.

I went through a discussion with their help team and they found it was working normally. I do recommend you reach out to their help line so they know the extent of the problem. That’s what this beta program is all about.

This was one of the reasons I didn't even want to sign up. I wonder how hard it is to remove the camera after it has been stuck on for a while.Looks like I'll be ripping mine back out in July.

As you know, the Beta program will conclude on June 30, 2025. After this date, your device will be taken offline, and access to the app will no longer be available.
We kindly ask that you complete the following steps before June 30th:
- Download Your Video Data
Your data belongs to you and you can download your video data in the Canopy app at any time before you are officially off-boarded on June 30th, 2025. After that, our team will delete all your data in accordance with the Canopy Privacy Policy.- Remove the device from your vehicle
You can find detailed instructions on how to remove the device here. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our support team at [email protected].- Recycle Your Device
There is no requirement to return the device! Once you have been officially off-boarded, you can dispose of the hardware. Please consider recycling it at a nearby facility. Here is a list of locations where you can donate or recycle your electronics.
