unless I miss something, I think I’ve only had one survey to fill out since I received the unit. Have you guys had more engagement?
Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’ve only had one lol

I’ve been in the beta for a couple months.

I don’t think it’s more annoying or less annoying than any other aftermarket solution

They’re still working on some of the notifications and sensing.

I have not heard if it’s eventually going to integrate into FordPass.

I do wish it didn’t require the OBD port all the time for charging. And this is maybe more of a truck manufacturing feedback but why are they not putting five USB-C ports that are ready for all kinds of aftermarket accessories that function as an OBD port on steroids.

They send a monthly survey as well as I’ve had a few feedback things I’ve submitted so I’ve been a little more engaged

Does anyone know when this beta ends? And what happens then?

Is anybody else having difficulty keeping the battery charged? I don’t drive every day but I drove 2 1/2 hours each on Friday and Sunday and the battery is already at 8%. The truck sits in my garage and doesn’t have a lot of activity near the bed.

I got an update a few weeks ago or so that seemed to fix that battery drain problem.

Best intel is they will quit asking for our reports and we keep the cameras. Hopefully the app will keep working, otherwise the system becomes electronic waste.
I’d hope so. I’m guessing the cellular would be turned off though….

Not relevant to the product discussed but that said if the existing bed camera is NTSC like the resolution leads me to believe one could tap into it using an off the shelf dashcam. It would take a Y harness and maybe a diode or two, but it should be relatively easy.

Sentry, activity tracking, and notifications may take more work, but not insurmountable either.

Yes. All the time. I’ve taken to turning off the monitoring when the bed is empty.

I went through a discussion with their help team and they found it was working normally. I do recommend you reach out to their help line so they know the extent of the problem. That’s what this beta program is all about.

This was one of the reasons I didn't even want to sign up. I wonder how hard it is to remove the camera after it has been stuck on for a while.
