It would make sense if Ford bought them for the software with a plan to eventually integrate the hardware into a new image processing module and use the hi mount camera.

I think we’re going to see the results of the Canopy purchase in the near future.

Yeah that sucks. So the question is, can the 2024 Camera be retrofitted or is Ford going to have a surprise for all of us. Is the 2024 camera different at all.

Yeah - well I noted what I did because it looks like Ford released the same version of the app to the Beta testers as they did the general population at the same time. That doesn't usually happen.

This looks a lot like what I linked from the Ford website. The first post says nothing about a OEM Ford ordering option.

For $150/year I'd just get a dashcam with a good parking mode and a separate battery/charger. (Not the dashcam batteries since they don't work in the cold, but basically the same setup as my black box setup)
