I have a 2024 Flash and was provided the FSCP with the purchase. I could not get its WiFi to show up on my phone nor the technician who installed its phone. It was charging at 10.4 kW so I did not worry too much. About a month later, I noticed the pulsing blue/solid amber lights stating (reduced rate). It wouldn’t get about 3.4 kW.
I have done the force reset method with Ford support over the phone to no avail. I cannot get it to hop on my WiFi. I have 1GB fiber optic connection with an extender so my garage gets over 700mbps. I took the cover off last night and tried to reset it by holding the button down 15-30 seconds (held for 40). Still getting the pulsing blue/solid amber but it’s charging at 10.3-10.4 kW…?! Anybody else??

On a 2024 Lightning that rate of charging NET TO THE BATTERY is about right ~10% conversion loss.

240v X 48 a (max) is 11.52 KW X 90% = 10.368 KW

If the amber lamp is still showing you're just a few amps short of maximum, not worth worrying about.

I understand the process; however, my issue is it was charging initially at 10 kW (pulsing blue) but months later it only charged at 3 kW due to the pulsing blue/amber lights. It still shows the pulsing blue/amber lights but is now back to charging at 10 kW.

It's still a fraction low on the derating, keep trying to adjust it to the maximum value, you may need to power cycle it a couple times to make the yellow go away.

My FCSP is configured for maximum 80amp, your setting might show lower value.

Ok, ya, I will keep resetting prior to hooking up to charge. TBH, I'm content with the 10 kW for the time being as it's my daily to and from work (80'ish mile round-trip) so I connect when I get home and set the charging at 00:01. Usually charged up by 3 or 4 am. It's still weird that I cannot setup the FSCP through the app...Ford can see it on their side and said it needs the software update...but if I'm getting 700+ mbps in my garage, there should be no reason it cannot connect. Any thoughts to that?

Also if you are actively charging, the adjustment might not stick, I've found it set's better while changes are made and not charging.

Once the initial provisioning is run, the FCSP wifi SSID goes to invisible.

The only way you can confirm that it's connected to your home wifi, is to use the set-up app to log into the FCSP via your phone, which also needs to be actively on the same wifi network.

You can also confirm that the FCSP has connected by inspecting the fiber/wifi router control panel for connected devices, look for a device indicating "Texas Instruments" device..

I do not see anything relevant connected to my network, unfortunately. It's a head-scratcher for me lol
