If it didn't get to a valid power on startup state it won't load codes to PTS

I tried with a jump start though and still no dice. That should have given me plenty of voltage to engage the HV battery.

Also, 4.5 hours now and still no tow....

Oh the 12v isn't the problem, it's a symptom.

And you can get reimbursed for a tow if you need to

We gave up waiting and just left the truck unlocked with the keys in it. Not like anyone can drive away with it. Got the OK from Ford for that.

Still waiting on that tow. 3.5 hours since I called Ford. Gotta love the promptness. In the meantime my wife was able to Uber to the airport, get a rental F159, driver back to us and we transferred everything over. We finished that 45 mins ago....

Waiting on a vendor always sucks. Back when I had progressive, I locked my keys in my 4Runner (right after I put my pizza dinner in it ) & waited hours for their mobile service tech to pop the lock.

Well, just got a call. The 2nd towing company didn't get there before the garage closed, so now the pickup is 7:30 tomorrow am. Can't make this up!

Not sure if this would affect BC. Just checked and your subscription says it is active and config seems to be correct. Not seeing an codes reported with any of the ADAS modules. Very strange indeed. I sent the VIN to Jesse. Hopefully he has some time to look a bit deeper than I can.

Dealer has diagnosed it as a bad BECM. Good news is it is fully covered by warranty.

Alas - They replaced the BECM module, but that didn't fix the issue. Now they say it is a "fuse" in the high voltage battery - negative terminal - I read that as the HVBJB (maybe I am wrong), but I don't have an updated timeline yet.

Thanks! The EV team was useless but at least they pointed me to the extended warranty folks and my coverage include rental reimbursement up to $45 per day for 10 days. Better than nothing.
