I’m compiling a verified list of Ford rotary shifter part numbers.
The current working theory is that part numbers starting with LX6P or LX6Z typically refer to motorized rotary shifters. These are commonly used in 2020–2022 Escape, Bronco Sport, and others.
I’m hoping to collect real-world confirmations so we can build a reliable cross-reference list for retrofits and replacements.
If you’ve used one of these parts, please reply with the following:
Motorized Rotary Shifters
These rotary shifters have a built-in motor that automatically rotates the knob into "Park" when the vehicle powers off.
Non-Motorized Rotary Shifters
These do not auto-return to Park. Knob may rotate past Drive, depending on configuration.
Check out @Mike G 's install method here - This is the best way I have seen it done so far if you care about keeping all your clips intact.
Please add any others you’ve verified, or correct anything above if you’ve found otherwise. Once we gather enough data, I’ll update the first post with a full list of confirmed motorized part numbers.
Worth a read before ordering to make sure you get the updated part https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...pressed-transmission-remains-in-park-p.21849/
Thanks in advance for contributing.
