I can confirm this also fixed the bc issue. I’m sure we all figured that it would, but just wanted to post for posterity. Also, the updates that applied must have also turned on adaptive headlamps. I can’t say for sure as I don’t drive a lot at night so perhaps they have been on for some time now. This is just the first I am noticing as I drove a lot at night this weekend and the adaptive lights just worked. I did not enable them in the console, and quite frankly, thought the only way to turn them on was through for scan. It was a nice surprise and they worked well.
If you have matrix lights activated (where portions of the beam focused on a vehicle in front of you turn off) the auto high beam icon on the instrument cluster will be green. If matrix lights are not activated the icon will be white. What color is it on yours?

The headlights come from the factory with a bending function. The low beam lights (not sure about high beams) will physically move left and right as you turn the wheel so they "bend" around turns.

Matrix headlights are activated from the factory in Canada. They are not in the US. I highly doubt Ford would activate matrix lights in an update because from my understanding they do not conform to US regulations.

My 25 Flash here in the U.S.A. came activated matrix lights from the factory. Just bought the truck in June this year and thought something was wrong with my eyes 1st corner I came to at night and the lights turned with the steering wheel.

That's not matrix lights, that's simply bending headlights. Following your steering into turns is expected.

Owners manual calls them dynamic headlights.

Are there other reasons why BC would stop working? It stopped working on my 2022 Lariat last October after an update and has not returned even though BC hasn’t expired in my Connected Services and I have had several successful updates since then?

Message me the VIN and I can take a look and see if I see anything helpful.

@southern_cyclone Got your message. Your truck is not reporting any codes that would indicate a problem with BC. Also, all the config for BC and BC 1.4 to work is there and correct. Are you wearing your seatbelt when you try to use BC?

Hmm, that’s interesting. Yes to the seatbelt. I don’t even see the option to enable BC. I asked my Ford dealership about this but they wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee. Decided it wasn’t worth the cost and it’s @Ford Motor Company loss on losing my BC subscription.

And your confident that you have all the driver assist settings relevant to BC turned on?

I believe I’m supposed to see an option here for Lane Center with Hands Free. Is that correct? When I check connected services, it says my complimentary BC doesn’t expire until next year. Is there something else that needs to be enabled?

Yea, I saw your BC is active and yes you are supposed to have land centering with hands free there. Do you have FORScan?

Unfortunately no.
I asked because I would need to see the config on your truck in case the data online is not accurate. I don't see any reason why it would not be working.

Is there anyone in the Raleigh area that has FORScan that would be willing to help me out?
