Are you off the PG&E monopoly? That's the only way I can imagine you're able to pay $0.11/kWh.
Mine is about the same with an EV time of use plan. For super off peak with our CCA handling generation and SDGE delivering we're around the same. There's a $16 fee, but we have fully paid solar and NEM2 so all that does is reduce our net credit a bit and we save a lot running things overnight. During the day we generally generate more than we use.

Pretty straightforward review. It’s cheaper to run compared to its gas cousin, don’t exceed 70mph if you want long battery range, and it’s great at truck stuff. I don’t understand the rear view camera complaints though. Mine always comes on in reverse. Never had an issue with that. For safety I do feel all these big truck need to automatically display the front camera when you first start the truck and start moving (up to say 7mph). So much can hide below the hood on these things.
Please, Ford, automatically display the front camera at low speed for park assist. I always end up manually turning on the camera display when moving forward for parking -- I don't understand why the truck doesn't just bring up that display like it does for reversing.

I've been playing the EV and dollars per KWH game for a long time in California. There is no one paying 11 cents for power in CA.. The cheapest is about double that on some goofy time of use plan. You're going to have to show me some billing to counter this.
Tesla and other brand chargers are at 60 cents now on the routes I use.

Yeah, the road tripping prices really suck now compared to years back (or for those that can only DCFC).

Other Japanese trucks do this pls - OTA can do it.

Good article. It hurts to read that is at home charging (at night) is $.36/kwh which is BONKERS - like that close to DCFC prices.

If I lived in Cali, I would absolutely throw some solar panels on my roof. My price at home is $.07/kwh and it doesn't change regardless of time of day so adding 100kwh of electricity is $7.

My truck does this. Even in fast food drive-thrus it will automatically pull up the front camera if there is a car in front of me.

Mine does as well although I wish it came up a bit earlier. I have to be quite close already.

I think the reason it doesn't is that it would be bringing up the front camera in situations where it's not just low-speed parking maneuvers...like slowing to a stop behind others at a traffic light, etc. Could be annoying if it brought up the front camera everytime you got close to anything while at a slow speed. If you're trying to check the map for a direction and the screen is taken up by your front camera view because you're at a stop behind somebody at a light...how's that gonna work?

That's good point. I think it would be great if there were a button on the wheel that could be pressed with a thumb to initiate the front camera/overhead view. Reaching over to the display is the thing that's kind of disruptive to the flow of parking.

I agree...but that's exactly what I end up doing everytime I pull into some parking lot space to make sure I'm staying within my lane space lines, and am not too close to the parked vehicle in front of me.
