Can FORScan turn on Slippery Mode and previous Drive Mode for pre-2025 Trucks?

Is the ABS module the same part on 22/23 as 24/25? I thought i saw it wasn’t.

Yes it is. I had previously stated it was different.. but the only difference seems to be the strategy and ecu calibration..

We didn’t get far. The ABS files couldn’t be obtained.

Jesse, every thread I read you always come up with some kinda good news or answers man, you’re really the GOAT! Let me know if you need some help testing out those files, I’m gonna have a different year truck than OP though, I have a 2024 XLT SR.

I hate to pour cold water in this, but I tried loading the ‘24 ABS files and it would not install on my ‘22.

Would not the anti-lock braking function take care of any excessive braking going on by regeneration? What other automatic steering & braking functions might help in poor traction situations? Is going slow and leaving plenty of car lengths the only options?

I will respectfully disagree on this. 1pd has been excellent in the ice and snow for me. The truck still uses abs and seems to do a great job. Now having said that I’m also going much slower and I’m modulating my pedal not just pulling my foot off the accelerator pedal completely. I guess it depends on a drivers experience and skill to some degree on which method to use to stop.
