CSP is a Customer Satisfaction Program, not a recall. Recalls just cover safety issues, a CSP is to fix a manufacturing or quality problem.

The CSP was a Customer Service Program (CSP) so it may only show up at the Ford web site.

Also, check for the CSP-23B57 and 23B70 updates which could be involved.

BTW, sometime HV battery problems show up as BECM errors, but often that will be a "stop safely now" warning message - hopefully not your issue.

Apparently, from a search, there have been some defective BECM requiring replacement.
Not a DIY job unless you have experience with High Voltage systems!

Some 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U3012, P062F, and/or P0A7F in the battery energy control module (BECM) and/or P0887 in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module-B (SOBDMB) or secondary on-board control module-C (SOBDMC). This may be due to a loose 12 volt positive or negative battery cable connection or loose ground connection. Prior to performing Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, inspect both ends of the positive and negative battery cable connections and tighten if loose. Inspect connector C1168B and ground G127 for loose connections and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Refer to the Wiring Diagram for connector and ground locations. Perform the High Voltage Battery Capacity Relearn application using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) to clear P0A7F.

OK it is looking more like a hardware problem: the BECM itself an HV Battery module problem, or a wiring problem, if the software is all up to date.

Get in contact with Ford and see if they can help you.

The other thing about CSPs is that they expire. This one expired in October 2024 so it won’t show up any more. They did list a range of manufacturing dates so if yours falls in that range it may still have the bad version.

Nobody mentioned this but, I assume you used an AGM battery to replace the other one? Ford EVs are calibrated for the slightly higher voltage of AGM batteries, a flooded lead acid battery will cause issues.

Thank you very much for your checklist and continued support. Here are the exact diagnostic results after following your instructions:
• The 12V battery was fully charged with an external charger.
• All DTCs were cleared.
• After rescanning, the same fault keeps returning.
Recurring DTC detected across multiple modules:
• U0111 – Lost Communication With Battery Energy Control Module (BECM)
Appears in:
• SOBDM-A
• SOBDM-B
• SOBDM-C
• PCM (Powertrain Control Module)
• APIM
• ACCM
• The MIL is ON for this fault.
• I also checked my VIN online using the official recall database, and it shows that there are currently no active recalls for my vehicle.

• All visible fuses appear to be OK.
• The BECM and its wiring/connectors under the frunk have not yet been physically inspected.

OK, You're original post said "U019B – Lost Communication With Battery Charger Control Module (BCCM)" now you are saying "U0111 – Lost Communication With Battery Energy Control Module (BECM)"

These are two completely different things. but may have a weird relationship. The HV Battery (which contains the BECM and is (for all intents and purposes) the BECM) has a weird CAN connection in which they have 2 CAN connections that are made within the housing of the BECM. This means that when you unplug the HV battery low voltage connector you are essentially splitting/disconnecting the CAN bus.

This is done to eliminate star topology in the CAN bus, but also done strategically in some cases to keep things on either side from communicating if the connector is unplugged. Unfortunately this doubles the failure statistics of that connector.

What you need to do is get a good can of electrical contact cleaner from your local auto parts store. CRC brand is my fav, but any will do. Power washer works good too if you have that available, or want to remove the Battery Connection Protection Armor Plate and drive to a car wash. Clean the heck out of this connector on the front of the battery before you unplug it,, then Unplug it, and clean both sides again with the contact cleaner.

Visually inspect both the socket and connector sides for any obvious issues.

Pay particular attention to the twisted pair blue and white CAN wires. You can remove the wire loom protectant and inspect back a few inches of the wire harness.

Once everything is clean and good, lubricate the gasket mating surfaces with WD-40 or any other non-conductive lubricant and re-seat the connector.

Clear all DTC's and I bet you'll find that you're good to go. Let us know.

That is correct i did use the AGM battery .

There was a post I read where someone removed and replaced their battery then had issues, the Ford dealer informed them they had a loose battery terminal connection and all they did was tighten it and the problem went away.

Also, if I recall correctly, there was someone who reported that their battery connections had come loose on their own, maybe not tightened enough at the factory.

The 12v battery seems to be a bit of an Achilles heel for these trucks.

AGM IS a flooded lead acid battery, it just has Absorbed Glass Mats between the plates.

Not in my book.
As I understand it, a flooded battery has liquid electrolyte 'sloshing around' inside, while in an AGM battery, the electrolyte is absorbed by the fiberglass mats.

Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction and helping me identify where the problem could be. You were absolutely right — water had entered this connector and caused carbonization on two of the pins.

Unfortunately, the issue had to be repaired rather than replaced, as there is no official Lightning service available here in Europe. With the help of several experienced EV specialists, the connector was carefully repaired, modified, and fully sealed with 100% waterproof insulation.

I’m happy to say that the truck is now running perfectly with no issues at all.
