Not when you look up the adverse health effects of diesel exhaust!
Too funny, I think the adverse effects of hunger is worse….!

If it wasn’t for diesel you wouldn’t be eating….what you going to stick on your car when there’s no food on the table?
I can't tell if you are serious or not. Just in case you are, new diesels may not like it but you can literally substitute vegetable oils for diesel fuel, less than ideal in the winter time without additives but that's a whole nother thing. It was the old school solar power.
Too funny, I think the adverse effects of hunger is worse….!
Guess you were.

Huh?
I guess you mean diesel is used on farms and to bring food to market.
People somehow ate before diesel and cars were invented.
And if those machines were electric, the air would be a lot more breathable, that's just a fact.

Can you say "lung cancer?"
If you look it up you'll see that diesel particulates are a significant factor in lung cancer:

"...Diesel exhaust also contains more than 40 cancer-causing substances, most of which are readily adsorbed onto the soot particles....the National Toxicology Program, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, concluded that exposure to diesel exhaust likely causes cancer.... "

There's an EV bumper sticker for that "If I breathe my cars exhaust will you breathe yours?"

Your memes are cute,😊
However,
There’s almost 8 billion people on earth, before the car the horse did fine bringing food to “local” markets. Your EV’s parts would still sit on a foreign dock if it wasn’t for diesel.

Ridiculous statement,

All ships use DIESEL
Most trains are DIESEL
99% of Semi trucks are DIESEL

If you think global trade can survive without, then I have bad news for you.

My F350 was deleted, if you know what that means you’ll know how I feel about the whole situation….

EV is cool, but you’re not too bright if you think we can just get rid of diesel.

As for your clean air and lung cancer, Ever been to the 3rd world, they’re way way more people than in North America. Guess what, most don’t have any pollution control, millions of trucks (far more than in the U.S.) run big pipes with big black dirty soot spewing out their pipes, pollution blows right around the World, you’re gonna breath it like it or not….

You have a much better chance of getting cancer from your next flu vaks than my diesel truck, besides Trump is rolling back all the BS regulations.

Clueless my friend , you’re absolutely clueless…!

Willie,

After reading your posting I thought by mistake I was on either FTE or Truth Social.

Anti-vax, rolling coal. big black dirty soot spewing out their pipes, rolling back all the BS regulations, OMG! This is the wrong forum to post that stuff on.

I've owned at least 5 trucks (F-350's, F-450's etc) all with 6.7L Diesels to tow my 5th wheel RV. Every one of them had untouched factory emissions. I would never consider illegally deleting them.

From your previous postings it sounds like your have an intelligent wife who drives her Lightning powered off grid 100% by solar. Don't let our leader know you have solar or you wll get cancelled. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/08/20/trump-says-us-will-not-approve-solar-or-wind-power-projects.html

Ironically you could destroy him in a drag-race with a load of topsoil in the bed.

TBH, every time I see a CT, I assume the driver is a moron. So there's that.

In spring of 24 we drove to Vermont with our brand new Tesla adapter to ski. At the SuperCharger in Williston, a CT pulled in, and drew the crowd. When I had a chance, I went over to strike up a conversation. It was amazing how he knew nothing about the truck, nothing. His most knowledgeable comment was how he bought it out of state and needed to pull together the sales tax in a few days for Vermont to the tune of $7 or $8,000. Otherwise, he was clueless.

I think many of the owners of the Hummer EV are as well. Look at me, I own it, but know nothing.

That is not unusual for many EV owners. We on the forum are the nerds that want to know everything.

I have a friend who has owned a Cadillac Lyriq for over a year. He has driven it 15,000 miles already. It amazes me when he calls me with basic questions.

If everyone thought like you there would be no electric vehicles.

Progress will eliminate or clean up all that diesel you seem to love so dearly.

I guess your either too young or too sheltered to remember how bad smog used to be before catalytic converters?

How much lead there was spewed into the environment from leaded gasoline?

So are you saying let's be like 3rd world countries and pollute the heck out of things?

Cancer from vaccines? I guess science is not your thing?

Maybe you're too young to remember the polio epidemics and this thing called the iron lung, kids in wheel chairs before the polio vaccines....OMG!

So, in view of your last post, I give up, trying to use logic and common sense in this discussion.

As Larry the cable guy said "you can't fix" some things.
