Maybe there's a FORScan setting to make the blinkers even brighter? Not an expert, but could be an option. If the same setting could also change the timing so the exterior blinks match with the interior blink arrow and the blinker sound, that would be great and would personally pay for the solution as it drives me nuts!

As for roundabouts, I'm all for them. See plenty of idiots try to navigate them, but most drivers know how not to turn it into a disaster. Better than waiting at a red light with no cross traffic because some algorithm says my direction of travel is less of a priority than the other direction of travel. Happy to say that they're becoming more and more common but not fast enough.

Just so you know, all Lightnings already have a "2" there. This is because with the turn signal on, the DRL changes from white to blinking yellow. DRL and turn lamp are the same.

Other vehicles with different headlight turn signals like certain ICE F-150 will have a "0" there.

What is needed is a setting that inhibits headlamp. But not sure that exists.

Dimming the DRL would help immensely, it may appear to be blinking at least, not just changing color :)

Round abouts are cheap. A standard traffic signal for an intersection runs $400k-$600k plus ongoing maintenance. I'm dealing with a push to lower taxes, which lowers my revenue, I am trending toward installing round abouts as a cheaper alternative.
I don't know where you get your information from, but the roundabout that I am speaking of replaced a traffic light, and cost just under $2 million.

And generally takes far more real estate.

I will admit this much. Traffic circles work OK if there is VERY little traffic. Get more than a couple cars in them and they are a nightmare. Two busy streets - forget about it.

I tested the mentioned Forscan code above, no result. Tested to disable Park Lamps as DRLs, but still no better.

The park lamps/turn signal is very bright. Isn’t there a setting to adjust that somewhere?

Are you wanting the white DRL to be disabled entirely when the turn signal is on so that it flashes amber-off-amber-off?

I had to go out and look at mine. During the day/headlights off, the white DRL dims when the turn signal is on. It returns to full brightness when the turn signal is turned off. At night/headlights on, the white DRL remains dim at all times, but the light still flashes amber-white-amber-white.

I don't think you're going to find any combination of settings that will dim or disable the actual headlight while the turn signal is on at night. That would be very distracting to other drivers.

I certainly hope not - that would be hideously distracting. Personally I find having the DRLs turn off for turn signals annoying. Just one of the reasons I have the DLRs completely disabled on my Lightning. If it was my choice the whole concept of DRLs would be eliminated from all cars. They are worse than not having them at all - the largest reason being all the idiots that drive at night with nothing but DRLs and the entire rest of the car blacked out. Can't drive more than a few miles without seeing one or more cars that way...

@hb.sagen Yes, this is a picture of your truck...

Just add these to your front bumper and/or to your side mirrors.

I could have sworn my side mirror lights are also turn signals. Is this not the case on your mirrors? That is a possible place to tap off of if you add them to the front side of the mirrors.

Yes, thats my truck. My taillights don’t blink, as regulation requires orange turn signal in the rear as well.

In the headlight, there are three lamps. The middle one, which turns orange, is the park lamp as well?

What you use for your rear orange turn signals, just install a set like that onto your front bumper. That should solve the issue to provide a clearer/brighter turn signal for the other drivers to see.

My side mirrors have orange turn signals built in. If yours do too, tap into that and put one of those bar LEDs that you have for your rear turn single onto the front of the mirror.

On my truck the middle one is the white DRL that comes on in Drive but not in Park. And for turn it blinks amber. So in Drive it alternates white/amber with turn signal on. In Park, it just blinks amber.

My parking lights appear to be the light bar and the “7” shaped plastic strip around the headlight.

Your truck has been modified so you’ll have to get a friend to observe for you (Drive/Park, Day/Night, Turn On/Off). Eight possible combinations.
