Best OBD BLE dongle for ABRP

Hi, it looks like I need to add a OBD dongle to my truck to get good data out of ABRP.
Which one is the best one to use?

Been using the OBDLink Cx, listed as an option in the URL from @B177y, for almost two years and it works great. Leave it plugged in the whole time, no issues.

Interesting that it lists the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE as problematic. That's news to me since I've used one with no issues with ABRP or Car Scanner for almost 2 year now.

Do folks still prefer ABRP with OBD data over latest version of Google Maps with battery data integration?

I prefer ABRP for trips that have charge stops. Lately I've been using it exclusively since Google Maps had the update that causes the "0.0" to show on the instrument panel for distance to destination.

ABRP does get data through Android Auto, presumably the same info that Google Maps does. Using the OBD gets ABRP access to a couple readings that are not available when using AA only, the most important one to me is the ability to see the HVB temperature when using the OBD.

If you click on the "live data" button on ABRP on your phone while navigating or driving and ABRP is displayed through AA on your car screen, you can see which readings are available through the AA connection (on your phone screen). Then plug in your previously connected and saved OBD and you'll see the two or three other readings that are added.

I use Veepeak without issues as well.

I use the Vgate vLinker MC+ BLE+Bluetooth. Mine does not have a physical pairing button and I do not have to relink it each time as ABRP suggests. I do not leave it plugged in. I simply plug it in when I want to use APRP or when I want to read DTC codes or other parameters.

I recently purchase OBDLink MX+, which was a little bit of a mistake. I thought you only needs BLE with Apple products, I was wrong. I really like the MX+ for real-time diagnostics data but it does not work with ABRP. I was thinking about returning it but I'm probably going to buy the CX, and probably the wired dongle, the EX. Each of these three devices have different use cases. I have no experience with the CX or EX yet. The CX for me would simply serve as the ABRP device. The EX would let me reprogram with FORScan. The MX+ works great with Car Scanner. I have been successful pulling data up on the main display, pretty cool. I like seeing the battery information that the truck won't show you.
