Got this on 12 April 2024. We have put 32,000 miles on it and have no intentions of slowing down.

Nice!

Yes, the forums are a place where people post about the issues they are having with their vehicles looking for help and advice, or just to share a cautionary tale.

And that user base is a valuable resource - it convinced me to avoid the HIS for example after reading how problematic they were.

Most of us I believe also 'love' our Lightnings despite the glitches, obtuse OTAs that have unintended consequences, crickets from Ford or worse.

I don't look at the posts about problems and frustrations as "negative' but rather as sharing constructive criticism with Ford (if they were listening).

Negative feedback sometimes serves to improve things....like in an amplifier:

Negative feedback in amplifiers reduces gain to significantly improve performance, specifically by stabilizing gain against component variations, reducing distortion, increasing bandwidth, and modifying input/output impedances. It works by feeding a portion of the out-of-phase output back to the input to correct errors.

Hope your lack of negative experiences with the truck continues!

Picked up my 24 Flash in July 24. Just shy of 40,000 miles. We always take this when we go to town. At $0.065/kwh it’s so much cheaper to drive and do much more fun! Two trips this fall and winter from MN to the Florida keys and back. Then later from MN to Sedona and back. Love both toad trips and daily drives in my White Lightning.

115k miles in. My only downside is that it's going to be hard to buy a replacement.
Love the positivity in this thread! These owner boards can be an echo-chamber of whining and griping and less often people are taking time to post about good things or about all the fun they are having. Good for you guys!

nice to see owners unphased by ownership off-warranty too. Keep it up!!
