As a Canadian. I had to watch Farley with the US president making videos in a Plant stating how they don't want anything being made in Canada. Then close Canadian plants, Tariffing our steel and aluminum, even trying to stop the Gordie howe bridge from opening, and Farley has the gull to say "Canada sold their sole".... How about the reality is "our partners of 100+ years Ghosted us and left us hanging". Yes Canada had some auto plants and Jobs but in return US auto had an EXCLUSIVE market of 2 million auto's per year that Canadian were buying from them. Now everything is Tariffed and Boycotted. AMERICA made it clear it's America First, which then turned into America only. That is fine. It's your country do as you please. But to now say we are the ones that "sold our souls" by letting other countries that do want to work with us, take over plants and use Canadian workers and offer compelling products at half the price. Yeah okay... Keep drinking the Koolaid Mr. Farley. The only one that Sold their Sole is Mr. Farley by garnering short term political gain by taking a write off at the cost of killing off their future. I don't care how great their new EV platform is, The actions Farley took has proven that Ford is easily manipulated, has no vision, and can't be trusted. After a life of being a Ford enthusiast, this excellent Lightning will be my last Ford.

Don’t get me wrong - I love the Lightning but.. I wish I loved my Ford as much as the CEO of Ford loves his Chinese EV.

Nothing to be sorry about. My statement was not meant to be political or insult Americans. There are Americans that agree with how things are going and there are some that think everything is bat poop crazy. None of my business to interfere with those decisions. My rant is specifically about Farley. You don't make public appearances saying you don't need anything from a country and then expect those same people to continue buying billions of dollars worth of your product. You want nothing to do with Canada. Great... Get lost....Do your thing and don't talk about us anymore. Instead he gets on his high horse and says Canada is the one that sold out (how delusional do you have to be to say that)... Canada is doing what any other country/business would do when a partner abandons them. They make new partnerships that have the greatest impact to the Country (jobs and lower prices). Farley himself keeps blabbering how great Chinese cars are, how advanced they are, and how cheap they are. Thanks for the intel but we already knew that. Canada would be insane to not partner with China on EV's. Farley's biggest problem is his flip flopping mouth. If he kept it shut, things would work out a lot better for him.
