Someone earlier mentioned possible spillage being next to cupholders...has anyone tried to put some sort of foam or rubber gasket above the rotary dial and below the lid (or cutout of the hole on the etsy version)?
FYI - I used a DANCO plumbing rubber O ring #73 (this is the size #). It's thin and with a diameter large enough to stretch over the shifter's vertical black column. DANCO stock number = 35720 B. It fills the gap between the shifter body column and the lid's opening. O ring's outside diameter (O.D.) is 2 & 3/16", and its inside diameter (I.D.) is 2".

A good old-timey local hardware store or plumbing supply store will have these. My local cost was about $1.20 + tax.

My suggestion would be the Mach E. Its an EV
I installed the Mach E shifter. It's described in a post on today's date (10 April, Post #203). Basically it works except for the Auto Hold, the park brake release function when in DRIVE or REVERSE, and the Neutral + 30 min function.

One thing I'm curious about is that when you have to replace the GSM it requires a PMI to get the correct strategy files (according to the shop manual), so I'm curious to see if there are any DTCs thrown after swapping in any of the rotary shifters and if a strategy update may need to be applied to keep any DTCs from appearing.
Hmmm... I wonder now whether I'll need to do a PMI procedure to get the correct Lightning strategy files for my newly installed Mach E shifter (described today 10 April, Post #203) which presents three secondary function faults after installation. Thanks! ...and I'll have to wait for my next FDRS 2-day purchase to try this.

I have to report that, after DM help from interested members here, it appears the Mach E rotary shifter cannot gain full functionality in the Lightning.

Even after using FDRS to "VIN-write" my Lightning's VIN to the new rotary shifter module and then after running the new-module PMI software-downloading procedure, the Mach E rotary shifter does not gain full functionality. After PMI it is moreover explicitly rejected by FDRS.

Mach E rotary shifter part #: LJ9Z-7P155-D 1X from FordPartsGiant.com.

The basic PARK / NEUTRAL / DRIVE functionality is there, but these three secondary issues remain:

1. The Auto Hold function doesn't work. The Auto Hold Sync slider button is grayed out and refuses to turn the function on.

2. The Parking Brake automatic release doesn't release when starting to drive, either forward or in reverse. To release the Parking Brake, I have to manually disengage the Park lever on the front dash.

3. The 30-minute Neutral for roll-towing doesn't work with this shifter's L button. No L light, no Neutral gear.

Of note, the normal Neutral function does engage, as does the Park Brake function when shutting the truck off while in Drive.

I write this to help guide other members' rotary shifter choices in the future.

Unintended, yes. Unrepairable, unfortunately  (I'm still dippin' my snout in my morning coffee).
When you edit, just delete the [QUOTE /QUOTE] parts. Or is coffee needed for that

You could also 3D print a O ring with TPU.

Has anyone figured out a way to split this print in 2 for people with smaller build plates (220mm x 220mm x 250mm)?

Maybe a way to connect them with some M3 screws? The lines at the top where they connect can be sanded and then painted...

Attached.

Still working on the OEM tub model as well (ML3Z-1513530-AA), it's 99.9% there, trying to tune as I work on the press fit of the insert. Sorry for the delay, been super busy. Will share all when I'm happy with it.

Is the rotary knob sticking up above the lip on the cubby? If so, can it be lowered so the Fold Flat console can lay flat over it?

I did try to make it work for those with a work surface, as I know that was discussed here previously. Unfortunately the OEM tub is shouldered and the shifter is marginally too wide to fit down into the lower pocket. In theory you could probably cut out the bottom of the tub to allow it to shift lower and be compatible with the folding work surface. I was just worried about cutting out that material might affect the tubs rigidity, as well as reduce the effective press fit of the shifter into the insert itself. The draft angle is somewhere within 4-5 degrees and shifting it down the requisite 0.5" down eliminates a lot of that contact surface area.

The point of this design was to try to get something to work with the least amount of modification to OEM with a focus on minimal print time and no additional requisite hardware. I can certainly help somebody modify this to work with the work surface if somebody is adamant in doing so.

Thank you for your efforts and thorough explanation. That makes sense. I'm pretty adamant in wanting to retain the Work Surface as I use that often and see this shifter knob potentially allowing me to have the work surface down while driving (occasionally my passenger likes to have a laptop on it, facing them).
