Get a good wall mounted hard-wired EVSE and put the FMPC in your Frunk for emergencies, as others have recommended.
And for use when traveling and happen to have a 120 or 240 volt outlet available.
Totally agree on a hardwired EVSE for home use.

the mobile charger will do a maximum of 7.2 kw and pull 32 amps on a 240 volt circuit. the first place to start would be with the volt meter checking the voltage on the 2 hot lines as mentioned by
@K6CCC . if you don't have 240 volts next check for 120 volts on each hot line. if you only have 120 volts on 1 of the 2 hot lines, you may have a loose or broken wire on the hot line with no voltage on the receptacle. next flip your circuit breaker off and investigate the connections on the back of 14-50R receptacle for loose or broken wires.
If the mobile ford charger was provided on the Lightning sticker it is a30 amp, not 32 amp charger.
The Mach-E is a 32 amp charger. They limited the Lightning charger to 30 amps so if you have pro power onboard and want to use the charger to charge another EV it will not trip the trucks breaker

Well here's a comparison between the Volvo cable and the Ford cable.
I think flyct might be right in the Ford mobile charger runs double duty so it's limited. I get a solid 9kw with the Volvo charger.

Just ordered a wall unit to install so I don't have to mess with these cables back and forth and have one in my truck for backup and return the Volvo one to my brother.

Thanks for everyone's help!!

You it sounds like your Volvo EVSE is a 40 amp output 40ax240v=9,600 watts (9.6kW)
The Tesla and Mach-E mobile charger is a 32 amp output32ax240v=7,600 watts (7.6 kW)
The Lightning mobile charger is 30 amp output 30ax240v=7,200 watts (7.2 kW)

I suspect that it’s your Ford Mobile EVSE that’s causing you the issue. I made a short video for a different purpose about mine.:

I had similar issues with both of my FMC's. Erratic charging, and especially so in the Las Vegas heat. I ended up replacing my home charging needs with an Emporia unit, and my mobile (keep in the truck) cord is a J+ Booster 2. I have not had those issues with either unit. I handed down my FMC's to my kids to keep in their i3's.
