I did notice that it said flash on the charge port door. It was more to the fact that the paperwork said XLT and the used car dealer I bought from did not seem very reputable.
Reminds me of the Tacoma forum I was on. It's amazing the number of people who bought a used truck with TRD Off-Road stickers and then came complaining they couldn't find the button for the locker or other features that were model specific.

If you haven't already, double check the VIN on your paperwork matches the VIN on the truck. I've run into issues where I fat fingered my VIN when setting up insurance, didn't notice for almost a year. Thank goodness I didn't need to use it in that time!
