A few weeks ago, I had an Eibach Lift Kit that leveled my Lightning done at my local suspension shop. When I picked it up I quickly knew something was wrong as my truck was significantly lower. Leveled but lower. The suspension shop followed all the instructions and they were great. I didnt tell them I was lifting or lowering, just paid to have the suspension kit installed. The problem came down to miss-labeled spring boxes, as the Eibach kits use the same struts/shocks regardless of the springs. I contacted Eibach explaining the situation and they immediately realized the mistake and they shipped me new springs. They also agreed to re-imburse me for the second install costs. I had the new springs installed and sent them the receipt. It took less than 2 weeks and they sent me a check. Eibach has earned my trust, what could have been a really bad situation they claimed responsibility and made it right. PS the LIFT kits is amazing and really transforms the ride in a positive way.

Pics are lowered and lifted.

Set up came out nice!

Been looking at Eibach for a bit but wanted to know if there was an option to keep the stock height and rake. I know the popular option is to lower/level; however, I prefer the stock height and don't mind the rake as I do carry heavy loads from time-to-time. My first Ford and I've heard that the stock struts don't usually last long. Currently just shy of 50,000km but am hearing some hollow clunking when I go over bumps! I'll be doing a look on my next tire rotation; but wondering if this is an option.

Looks GREAT!! Can you specify exactly what Eibach product numbers you used and if any camber adjustment products were necessary? Is yours an ER or SR? Looks like a Lariat so I am gonna guess ER?

Outstanding!!! I have been a fan of Eibach for ~25 years now, after swapping out springs/struts in my '95 Taurus SHO and it transforming my already fast sleeper into a cop-escaping-machine..... shhh.

I currently have 4 brand new Eibach struts and Eibach lowering springs sitting in my house awaiting install - I just haven't figured out if I'm putting on all the lowering springs or not since I already have lowered the rear with McGaughy's strut pocket drop brackets....

I am digging the first photo. Is that with the lowered springs in place? Can you tell me how far did it lower the tailgate? And when it was lowered, did you need any special kit to correct the camber/alignment?

Tailgate was 6” lower. Yes I needed a cam kit for the camber. I hated the ride with the lowered springs. It was so harsh.

6" is quite the drop! I was not looking to go that low, but taking out the rake and a slightly lower deck would be nice.
I have been reading about people's issues with leaking OEM struts, so I need to get under the truck and take a look. If they are going then I would look to upgrade the suspension and go for a more level but not significantly lowered ride height. Would need to talk with Eibach and see what they have on offer.

Looks sharp! Unfortunate for the situation but glad all worked out. Yeah, that first pickup day of install musta been a WTF moment, for sure.
