Maybe I am wrong, but it was my understanding that current Lightning purchasers were also supposed to get one from Ford. Is that not the case. I bought my Lighting on 24 February and my dealer said I would get one, but they were WAY behind. Was he wrong?
Nice that you got a response to a text to support. I have had what should be a simple question in to them since the 5th with reminders every few days and not even gotten an acknowledgement, let alone a reply.
Nope. Almost any flashing light is illegal, but blue is restricted to law enforcement.
As I said originally, check the laws in your state. Hate to have someone put in a bunch of time and/or money only to find out they need to remove it and/or get fined.
That one is funny to me. I discovered that the outlets in the frunk was open by a good inch. I had used it 10 days ago and may not have been in the frunk since. Last night I was grabbing something and noticed the cover open. I did NOT have a notice about it.
I just looked at this on my Android. Account > Settings > Notifications & Alerts comes up blank, but the other three settings pages do populate. Confirmed on my #$%^& iPhone that Notifications & Alerts does bring up Global Notifications.
I was poking around at that area yesterday on the Tesla and Ford apps and saw that station with 120 stall available. Nice to hear they are all version 4. As of me tying this at 1229 Sunday, there are 98 of those 120 stalls available. And for a Supercharger location, not bad price either - 50...
I've only used three Tesla Supercharger locations since I bought my truck 10 days ago. All were quick stops.
1: 56% - 75%, 13 minutes 28KWH with peak rate I saw was 128KW.
2: 75% - 90%, 24 minutes 21KWH with peak rate I recall of 110KW that ramped down to about 60KW after 80%
3: 72% - 87%, 21...
I will second that one. Having installed a NEMA 14-50 two days ago, I can tell you that the proper torque spec was surprisingly tight. I have a torque screwdriver and the receptacle had the torque spec written right on it, so after snugging the screws down I pulled out the torque driver and...
I will make a point to do even a short evening charge session and give that a try - I agree that it should not make any difference, but willing to test.
On a related (to 24 hour time), I am finding that every time I get in the truck have to change the truck clock display back to 24 hours...
It's not just crossed midnight. The only charge session in my list that crossed midnight was the second one (Home 120V). Every evening session that started after 1600 Pacific time (0000 GMT) was shown as the next date.
OK, I'm new - having had my Flash for a week, but a quick search, I did not see this one. If I look at the charge history in FordPass, sometime the date is wrong. From my observation, the date is showing in GMT, but the time is my local time. In in California, so we are 8 hours behind GMT so...
1200 baud - damn youngsters. I can remember having to drop the modem down to 110 baud because we couldn't get 300 baud to work at times. 1200 baud was a huge step up! And this was not in the sticks somewhere, this was in the Los Angeles metro area.
