Nov 20 and there's a new OASIS message today with an update supplement to the original Safety Recall for the lightbar (23S30) which provides clues as to what they're looking for and requires that the tech doing the inspection/work send in a pic proving they've discarded the screws and grommets that originally held the lightbar on (factory install)...and instead have replaced those with pushpins. I imagine the pushpins would prevent the lightbar from cracking where the screws could have been what caused cracks and let water in if they were overtightened. That's the only smoking gun I see in this change.
So I'm guessing after they've provisioned all the parts they need to retro fit all of us, they'll be sending out the final 25SB6 message (sometime in January maybe?) that says to inspect the lightbar in accordance with the attached supplemental instructions.
If you've already had the work done and paid for it, see the other attachment as well.
