I had a 12v battery fail in August and the dealer tried to blame it on my Dongar. Obviously that isn't the case, since the mirror tap is NOT powered when the ignition is off. Just sharing in case anyone else gets pushback on these.

FYI for those interested, the old radar detector standby BlendMount works as well, and its solution is car-portable.

I moved its mirror connector tap pins from my long-departed Ford Fusion to the Mach E Mustang, and last year from the Mustang to the Lightning.

Thanks for the introduction. When choosing the Lightning, it shows three options. @LSUT1GER shows the DCA-16A above, so assume that the one to choose?

The pro/pro-plus mentioned in the videos are not available for the Lightning now/yet? The selectable voltage cutoff or timer, seems cool if wanting that scenario while truck is off.

EDIT: looks like Amazon has the 30% off as well, sold by Dongar. A review for the 16A is from a '23 Lightning owner.

Crud, didn't think to check Amazon first... had to pay shipping direct from Dongar. Oh well, it's only $5.

Slick little jumper. I use one of the interior outlets and leave ppob on all the time, no chance of draining that battery lol.
