The top 2 on the market are A2Z and Lectron. A2Z is less expensive, especially if you buy direct instead of Amazon. They also sell a Tesla Destination adapter, which is for hotels and private homes. Code FORDFORUM will get you a 10% discount. A2Z Typhoon Pro and A2Z Stellar. https://a2zevshop.com/products/nacs-ccs1?ref=Typhoon&variant=43186507579592

I bought both the A2Z Typhoon and the destination charge adapter and these are very well made.

My wife just got me this adapter for my birthday and I can’t seem to find any reference to it here. In the little instructions that came with it, it calls it a Vortex adapter. That seems to be what Lectron calls theirs, but this is branded as LH or LJH. She bought it off Amazon (of course) and said that there were positive reviews from other Lightning owners there. I’m generally suspicious of Amazon reviews, so I figured I’d check here to see if anyone had any opinions. Thanks in advance.

A couple things. Not knowing, but if you have had a ford in the past and had reward points, it takes 200 rewards points to get their tesla super charger adapter free. You just pay the 15 bucks shipping. Another reason to love ford. Hope this helps and i agree, use oem adapters

Are you sure that’s not supposed to be 2,000 or 20,000 points?

That's what I was just wondering. It says the adapter is $200 on the Ford website. I think that I have 20,000 points for buying the truck.
Here you go. And it’s 40,000 points. So you can probably get it for 20,000+$100.00.

You must decide between being suffocated by a pillow while you sleep or melting a cheap knockoff adapter to your $60,000 truck.

I say save the truck. Get a real adapter.
Ya, either the wife or the dog . . . . damn, I'm sure gonna miss her!

If you do any traveling, it is essential to have both NACS>CCS and NACS>J1772 adapters. A2Z has combo pricing (and discounts) and their adapters are solid and their customer support is superb.

On point: I recently traveled from NW Arkansas to Fort Lauderdale, circuitously more than 1750 miles. I made the entire trip in my SR Pro using ONLY Tesla chargers, including a destination (48 amp) AC charger at a hotel in Alabama. Both adapters got a workout.

Use your points to buy the adapter or stick with well known NACS to CCS1 adapters the EV community has been using for over a year.

I personally would recommend Lectron, Tesla OEM, Ford OEM or A2Z for the NACS to CCS1 adapter.

The next adapter recommended is the NACS to J-1772 for you to charge overnight at hotels with Tesla Destination chargers.

I would recommend TeslaTap, Lectron or A2Z for your NACS to J-1772 adapter.

If you decide to go with A2Z you can save 15%.

Click the link to chose your below products and stack the temporary code "FLASHSALE" to save 15%.

New orders: Current estimate for A2Z is shipping will take 2 weeks for the new Typhoon Pro adapter.

You can bundle the A2Z Stellar AC Tesla to J-1772 adapter for Hotel Destination charger for $82 additional after discount by adding both into your cart. This adapter is used with Tesla home chargers or Tesla Destination chargers which are commonly found at hotels, parking lots, shopping centers and Airbnb.

Return the Amazon adapter, grovel with the wife explaining that she is wonderful for thinking of such a great gift ideal, but not knowing she bought a unsafe cheap knockoff. Then go get the A2Z combo. I use the home version for our Tesla home charging setup, and the Typhoon at fast chargers. Both flawless.

Yes, that is pretty much exactly the route that I took. Halfway through my spiel, she told me to stop blowing smoke up her butt, and just order the one I wanted. lol
