I was wondering about the hitch myself. I have a 25' trailer pull that probably wouldn't see the road till next summer for 30 mile trips to the lake with a possible trip up to a couple hundred miles in state.
Another point I didn't think of was charging at the campgrounds. Have all the adapters with my trailer. If I ended up at a non-electrical campsite, I could see myself going begging to the campsites that did have electrical hookups to park and charge as needed. Don't think I would have a problem other than maybe needing some type of 50 amp and a 30 splitter to run a trailer and charge the truck.
What I don't know yet is how much kwh is used if I power a trailer all night at a non-electric campsite powering lights in the evening, etc? Or if it would run the air conditioner on an rv and how much kwh that would take?
