BlueCruise 1.4 is *officially* rolling out

The OTA agent I spoke to earlier in the day contacted me and asked me to check to see if I could see a pending update. I checked and the 2nd part of the update was pending. Once I got home and parked it, I hit apply update, and finally 1.4, with all the toggles functioning. Just need to take it out on the road and see how it goes.

Same for me, excited to try this out in the next few days.

I assumed I had BC 1.4 because when I turned on my signal, it switched lanes for me. I had an update come in a few days ago and after that I got two more yesterday. One for windows function and after a short ride, the BC 1.4 update. I'm happy to see all these updates!

How do you talk to an ota agent?

I see all these people getting updates and I still don't have the official update. I had the correct ipma and enabled most via forscan but it's not official. Now I'm seeing I'm missing other updates and think something needs to be updated at the dealer or repushed.

It was via twitter believe it or not. I deleted my twitter not too long ago, but he’s on there.

Yay, I finally got the update. Had to threaten the system by taking it to the dealer to check the LVB, because for weeks nothing was going through. I finally gave up trying to push it, always getting the dreaded failed to update message every morning.

I guess going to the dealer smartened it up because they told me that the truck had been receiving updates. Quite the surprised, so I checked it out... and there's the menu toggles. Awesome. BUT when I toggle it on, it waits a second and then just toggles itself back off. It's a frustrating tease... damn you Ford! I'm going to call this Blue Ball Cruise

Out of curiosity go to - FordServiceInfo.Com. Enter your vin and download your as-built config. You can change the extension to xml which should make the file a bit more readable in your web browser. Post what you have for 706-01-01, 706-01-02, 706-02-02 and 706-38-01.

Not sure it's good ok to go in and just update these in Forscan, if there are critical module updates not yet installed?

I suppose I could just keep waiting, now that updates have started again... or spend the $ and grab an FDRS license and do it myself (assuming an update is ready for me)

Happy days!!! early thanksgiving/ xmas for me ! woke up this morning with bluecruise 1.4 installed and walk a locks. , Honestly i dont know when the WAL installed i just happened up on it this morning when i checking out the 1.4 update.

I wanted to give a report on my first day of driving with the BC 1.4. The Previous version (1.0) i thought was great ! version
1.0 i felt had hugged the right stripe uncomfortably close to any vehicle big trucks small cars.... ect.
I'm glad to say the 1.4 version has that mastered now. completely centered and lot less stressing. lane changing in lite traffic was a no brainer seamless and smooth super impressed! i might add that i commute about 47 miles each way and 99% of that is freeways, so my only complaint so far is 1.4 wants to head into the freeway interchanges at what ever speed im doing usually around 75 in the morning. I'm not sure about turning on the speed limit recognition. The commute home will be slightly different as i will be catching the 5pm traffic that sucks so bad in Houston. but will see.

My WAL seem to be hit or miss tho. a couple of times at trying it seemed to work a few other times i had to hit the fob. sooooo im not sure about that update. any thoughts ?

Enabling it yourself with FORScan will not affect the OTA process going forward.

yeah if Forscan mods impacted updates, I'd be in trouble. Just got the BC1.4/WAL toggle OTA update for the 2nd time last week after already having both for over a year.
