My trial of BlueCruise is about to expire. My driving rarely puts me on “Blue” highways, so I don’t plan to subscribe. However, I am curious as to whether Ford eventually offers promos or discounts if it is clear that you haven’t signed up? I do love it when I can occasionally use.

Also, if I plan to be on a road-trip using a bunch of Blue highways, is it feasible to sign up for only a given month? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I was wondering the same thing. Also: if I don't subscribe, will I have any cruise control functionality at all? I.e., will I retain the hands-on-the-steering-wheel speed-keeping cruise control?

There are sometimes offers but they're few and far between. There have been some members here who have been offered discounts or extensions to their trials. You can sign up for a month if you like as you need.

You will retain the basic adaptive cruise functionality. Will not be hands free but you will have lane keep, speed up/down/stop, low speed follow and other basic capability. Anything related to Bluecruise hands free you will no longer have access to.

I thought you kept lane centering, not just lane keeping - it just isn't hands free.

I would subscribe at that price, but not $50/mo!
They'd need to knock that down even further for me, I seldom get on a hwy where it works, I'd pay $10/mo for the novelty of having it.
