Busted Tail Light - Radar Programming Not Needed

Just in case anyone has questions about the tail lights. The radar module in the tail lights is easily removable/swappable. I backed into a tree and repaired my tail light instead of buying one. Of course it rained the day after I broke it, so I took it off, washed it out good, dried it out good, then repaired it.

I just used hot glue and various things to make molds and some epoxy and lens repair from the auto parts store. It's not perfect but I'm not about to spend over $500 for this small of damage. I'll wait till I back into something bigger and really destroy the whole thing I have seen in FORScan where you can configure these radar modules, but I don't think it'll be necessary in most cases.

I cracked mine several months ago, it was $2100 for a new one. I would still shell out the money than drive around with a cracked lens - even if patched together. To each his own, though.

My FIL repaired his Mercury Grand Marquis taillight years ago, after it had broken into lots and lots of pieces.

I understand the reluctance to spend the money, but it looks awful to me.
