Is it possible to plug more than One device into the OBD port via a Y-adapter?
I don't know if there is such a thing as a Y adapter, but there are pass through devices - the plugs can be piggy backed on each other. Some devices allow that, but most don't. So certain devices you can get more than one device plugged in at a time.

Amazon thinks splitters exist.

It was nice but the night vision sure could have used some improvements. Now mine is E Waste,
Yeah I'm not very happy with them. I figured we could continue using it after the Beta. Had I known I would have never signed up. Maybe I'll give it to my programer BIL and see if he can write an app for it. He's an Android geek though not IOS. At a minimum I'll harvest the cells from the battery pack. Hopefully they are 18650s.

unless I miss something, I think I’ve only had one survey to fill out since I received the unit. Have you guys had more engagement?
I had a video conference and they gave me an Amazon gift card. I think I did about 3 online surveys. None of my feedback was ever implemented other than making connection more reliable.

boy was I glad to rip this thing out of my car and get my full window view back. I don’t even know why they did this beta tbh.

This was one of the reasons I didn't even want to sign up. I wonder how hard it is to remove the camera after it has been stuck on for a while.
Not hard. It was easy to pry off the camera. That left a ring of rubber and adhesive. I tried Goof Off first but that didn't work. I switched to a vinegar-based window cleaner and it cleaned right up.

Total time to remove and re-box: 30 minutes.

Couldn't one disconnect the system from the OBD-2 port, manually charge the battery, and have a device that flashes LEDs at a person too close to the vehicle, perhaps avoiding a problem?

You'd have to hack it.

When the system went offline, the device kept trying to connect until the battery died. That reset the unit.

To activate monitoring you have to control the unit with the app. The app no longer connects to the unit, so you can't reactivate monitoring.
