I was traveling and had to wait for a charger , it was a very warm day. The charger i got had been used by some kind of kia and the most I could get out of it was 50 kw. A Bolt moved from another charger so I moved and charged at 120 kw. The point being is the slow charging Bolt allowed the charge cable to cool , where the other was to hot to provide decent output.

On a recent road trip, we would consistently pull about 170–175 KWH on the hyperfast Electrify America chargers, and the Tesla chargers.

In fact our trucks won't charge any faster on an EA 350kw chargers than they will on an EA 150kw charger, that's because 350kw is an "800v" thing and we don't have that.

This is factually inaccurate. The EA 150kW chargers max out at 375 amps, where the 350kW max out at 500 amps. On a recent test I did, I ended up at 331.2V at 14% SOC. For someone who does not have the recent speed update, that's:
331.2V * 375A = 124.2kW
331.2V * 450A = 149kW
w/ update:
331.2V * 500A = 165.6kW
The higher charge speeds reported (180+ range) are achieved by charging at a higher SOC, higher voltage in the battery leads to higher kW charging speed. Since our charge curve is rather flat, we charge fastest at a higher SOC than most other EV's.

The biggest 2 reasons for the really slow charge rates are most likely to be malfunctioning equipment and high SOC (80%+). If you can rule those out and the math doesn't make sense, only then would I question if there is a problem. Using an OBD reader to see what your vehicle is doing is a very valuable resource.

I have hit 192kW on an 350kW EA charger with the Lightning.

Even with the increase amperage from 450 to 500, I would eventually like to see Ford tweak the charge curve to sustain a higher charge rate for longer decreasing the 10-80 time down to around 30 minutes.

Not sure how much truth is in the 500 amp on the 150's. The signets are junk due to the signet surge but you generally pull a bit more On EA 350's than the 150's due to higher amperage cables. This is why @tommolog with State of Charge preferred the 350's during the race to florida last year.

Signet vs ABB...most EA charging sites use the old ABB. It's easy to tell when you check PlugShare reports for a site. Everything in the southwest is ABB and often de-rated due to temp sensors not working.

Your blanket statement that EA 150 and 350 are the same is still not accurate. Bottom line is it depends on the site.

Claiming it is factually incorrect is also a blanket statement, and is not accurate. Your have a point but the impact is a bit lost when you do the exact thing you claim was wrong for me to do. I don't appreciate pedantic games.

Then don't play them? I quite enjoy them, it really helps drive the need to be specific as discourse via text loses a lot of context at times.

I was correct in my claim, there was nothing factually incorrect in my assertation of your claim being incorrect. Where I lacked in due diligence was to verify the newer equipment specs and should have included the Signet in my original response. The ABB having a difference is impactful and I wanted to make that known, rushing to finish that reply was my fault. I apologize for that.

I think the big point here that a lot of new owners miss is that just because a station lists x kW, you may not get anywhere close due to the sub-400 voltage of the lightning's battery pack as it needs higher amperage to get the max speeds. That's why I like using Car Scanner so I can see what the station is offering and what the truck is requesting v actually receiving.
