I've had a BougeRV 30 Quart https://www.bougerv.com/products/12v-car-fridge in the frunk for about a year and half now. I did a couple not-so-scientific tests with it when I first bought it. It never made the frunk noticeably warmer even on long road trips or just sitting for an hour or so. I just make sure not to block the vents on the side. It's still running fine although it can be a little weak to get the cold snacks down to temp and doesn't seem to have much insulation to keep them there once it turns off. But it does the job for cheap and doesn't seem to be bothered with jostling. For keeping a few waters and ice teas cool whenever I or the family wants one, it's pretty good.

I had an ARB fridge with the danfoss compressor that lived in my car/truck/suv full time for about five years, no issue with the refrigerant unless the unit gets completely turned upside down allowing the liquid to go where only gas is supposed to be.
Awesome, thanks for the info!

Hi- which water kettle did you use? I’m looking for a camping one for my ford lightning. Thanks
It is the Bodum Bistro goose neck electric kettle my wife bought at target. You could use any electric kettle style that fits your needs.

My Yeti cooler is happy to sit in my Frunk and keeps things cold for 3 days. The reason to go with a cooler is exactly to use in the frunk.

I was initially going to keep my fridge in the frunk. But I decided it was more convenient to have it behind the passenger seat. (I don't often have passengers in the back seats) With the fridge orientated fore and aft its easy to access when the door is open and it still allows the larger bench seat to be folded down. I also like being able to monitor the fridge temp, and turn it on and off when Im not using it.

I put our Bodega T50 in that position. Maybe the front passenger seat has to go forward a little bit, but good fit. We keep the ProPower running to run off the 110Vac instead of the 12Vdc if we are stopped for a while. Bodega display screen went back pretty quickly and customer support eventually shipped a new one if a positive review was left on Amazon, but the replacement screen did not work and the bluetooth/wifi? connection to an App does not work, so Bodega not recommended. We are still using as a drinks refrigerator continuously in our kitchen, so the compressor has lasted fairly well for over 2 years.
