Yeah, this just happened to be a sharp turn, and it threw up the warning. I immediately kept my hands on the wheel, but the warning kept going off for at least 30 seconds until I fully disengaged the Cruise control.
send me the route.

Yeah, I've never experienced that. Sorry I have no suggestions.

Anybody using BP7 on a Comma 3x? I remember @Ajzride explaining that the thermal management on 3x was different, but wow! My fan sounds like it's at full speed the entire time it's operational. I'm in Western WA, so high temps are mid 70s-low 80s, nothing crazy.

I went back to BP5 for the quiet after trying BP7 for a week or so. Just checking to see if BP7 on the 3x is always going to have this heavy CPU use and fan use? My guess is that the Comma 4 has better temp management and the 3x is too old to quietly manage the heat while using BP7?

My 3x definitely screams with BP7 but it's been hot as hell lately so I'm sure that doesn't help either.

Yes the new operating system is geared to Comma 4. My 3x takes longer to boot. sometimes it has to wait to cool down before it starts, even though I keep it in the storage between seats. Not on the windshield. and the fan never shuts off.

we spent weeks trying to get the cooling on the C3X to work like old versions. There were just too many upstream changes from Comma, we kept breaking things.

your four options are:

Crank the AC set to defrost
turn up the radio
revert to BP-6.0 or older
engineer a fan upgrade

Yup, BP5 for the win! Until I get the C4 or whatever comes next, but not willing or able to part with $1k at the moment.

Tried BP 6 for a while but I missed the ability to dim the screen really dark and the driver cam and steering were very sensitive. BP 5 hits the "everything works" mark for me.

Dark Souls v2 was giving me too much lane hug even after tuning.

I tuned lateral then reset calibration and loaded default (cd210). Right off the rip, it already feels better than DSv2

Will report back after the steering delay tuning.
I finally had to follow along - Night and Day difference. CD210 was behaving so much better immediately.

Update: Figured it out, flashed the Comma 4 back to factory here: https://flash.comma.ai/

I decided to do a factory reset on my Comma 4 and reinstall BluePilot (in hopes of clearing the issues with the camera seeing the driver properly). Now I'm stuck in a loop where it goes into installing/loading BluePilot and then " Build Failed" and I have to click reboot device, then it does the same thing. Any ideas how to remedy?

This happened to me the first time i tried to set it up, I ended up having to plug it in and wipe it from the PC and it then installed with no issue.
