I suspect the "holder" will snap off in 2s, especially if it's printed flat, so you definitely want to look into reinforcing that part.

Possibly. It’s not flat though. I have been pulling on it to see how strong it is. Plus where I want to mount it I won’t be winding all the cord on it

I think @mr.Magoo mean printing it flat on its back, resulting in the layer lines being in the same direction as the stressors from the cord. Maybe a curved support on the bottom of the holder would help strengthen it.

You just give me an idea for what I'd like to see in a cord holder. I have my charger mounted on the right hand side of the garage and out in front. Too much storage in the garage so parking in there won't happen but if I ever cleaned it out, I'd just move the charger inside. So I park in the right hand side of the driveway and the cord has to lay on the concrete along the front of the truck in the snow, etc. I'd like to have some type of hook type attachment that is attached to the cord that would hook over the bumper or tow hooks to keep it off the ground. Of course that creates a tripping hazard to watch out for but needed for snow.

Excuse the crack in the drywall. Holder doesn’t weigh that much

Well I know you can buy them so why
Not print one. First try. Not big enough. So back to the cad program but not too bad for first try

I purchased a sturdy, attractive and (so far after about a year and a half of use in all kinds of weather) durable holder on Amazon for about $20. It said out of stock, but then after some Amazon fiddling, was available for $24, probably about the same price as the raw materials for the 3 D printer! That said, how about a "rain shield for the charging unit? It could be a 3D frame with some material attached. Anyway, here is the Amazon description of the holder:
EV Charger Holder with Screws Wall Mount Holster Dock for SAE J1772 Electric Vehicle Charger Holder).
