Good Evening @ZSC100, I tried installing this today. Spent around 6 hours splicing hours like you did and connected to passenger side C265 harness .

After all this now the truck wont start at all though display panel comes up. I had the battery disconnected all through when i was working. Havnt done any forscan changes until now.

Do you think maybe i took out the wrong wire from C265 . Here is the photo of the connection -

Any pointers you could provide will be greatly appreciated. Man Im not sure how to move fwd now ?
I compared this to my picture on page 6 dated April 9th 2023, looks correct. I'm guessing you didn't get that big C265 plugged back in correctly if what you did has anything to do with the "truck no starting". Check that, check your 12v battery, check the 12v battery for charge, and the community is hear to help, I'm sure it's just something simple.

Do you happen to have a picture of c265 which shows all the wire . I want to make sure i didnt take out wrong green white wire as i saw multiple green white wires.

There shouldn't be multiples of the same color code, that would be bad practice by Ford. But you can and should also check the PIN numbers which are listed on the diagram. Sometimes it's kind of hard to see the pin numbers which are usually printed in the molding of the plastic when you look down onto the pluggable surface. But you should be able to deduce the numbering scheme by verifying a few of the color codes of the ones you are dealing with in the proper positions. The numbering scheme is always sequential as it goes across or up and down the connector.

So you can see here in mine, I already have the retainer plate removed from the mating surface and I'm getting ready to remove wires 51,52,54,55

Thank yiu.

One thing i noticed is that i dont see this dark green wire which you have in the front row. That means 2023 wiring may be different than 2022. Oh man.. Does someone has 2023 pics for this connector ?

Hi everyone,
I ordered the parts and I'm about to start this project soon. I have the 2022 XLT SR 311A and I can confirm I have the wires on the IPMA and I'm missing them on C134. Can I just go stright from ICC to IPMA since C265 is a b**ch to reach? I ordered the Comma harness and I'm planning to use that so I can keep the original wires intact.

Yep, so straight from the IMPA to the CCM and stick a Deutsch connector somewhere behind the bumper if that's in your skillset so the bumper can be removed easily.

Yep, that's the plan. I'll build a "middleman" cable with deutsch connectors on both sides to connect CCM short cable with IPMA Comma harness mod.
What about the ForScan codes, can I stick with those posted in the 1st page since mine is also a '22 XLT? Are they still good or someone found a change for better results?

As far as the various module configuration tweaks. It's probably all still good as I posted. I haven't changed any of that on my truck and it's all still working.

Good Morning @ZSC100,

Narrating my experience with all this :)

"Well Well.. As luck would have it. I had a truck which refused to start after installing the wires above. Tried everything with battery but Truck won't start :-(.

Finally undid everything (Man! What was i thinking) and took it to Dealer. What they figured out is very unsual. Apparently when i was trying to see how we can run wires from bumper to passenger side via Firewall i tried to access the rubber gourmet just behind fuse panel, Somehow i ended up with loose screws on the Fuse panel and that led to Fuse Box panel connector cable getting unplugged and thereby Truck not getting any power :-(.

AH GOD...They charged a lot for diagnosing this one and plugging back the fuse box connection. Now Im trying to see how to bypass C265 and run connection from IPMA to CCM.

Let me know if this plan looks good to you...

Have the same setup i did earlier ..

1) homemade four conductor harness that goes from C134 to C265
2) Instead of connecting this to C265 (kind of hard to unplug and do all that again).. I can run it to driver side and connect it IPMA ?

I need some help in identifying the 4 wires i need to connect to on IPMA side.

Geeze man, sorry you did that to yourself. $50k+ value vehicle modification 101, backtrack your work and check ALL connections :)

Yes per the wiring diagram you can cut and splice there, That is connector

Ford F-150 Lightning DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT 1761749033713-sa

C242B and the 4 wires are on 9,18,19,20.

But since we don't want to let the passenger side win :), and I think it's safe to say you're not extracting pins from the C242B connector and inserting your own crimped replacements why don't you just forgo messing with C265 and just reach up there with some snips and cut the 4 wires you need, they are color coded and in sequential cavities 51(GY),52(GN-WH),54(BN-BU),55(GY-BU).

Yours will look just like this, just without having extracted the female pins from C265 b/c this mod is so proven by now and you'll never populate the male side of C265, so there's no need wasting time disconnecting and extracting those pins.

Thank you buddy. Appreciate your help on this one. I'm still thinning of doing it via IPMA connector C242B to make like easy for me..

Does the below image correctly identify the WIRES? Is Green White wire second last in the back row adjacent to last wire (WHITE GREEN)

Yep, you got it, but, are you planning to just snip those wires and use WAGO splice blocks? If so, I can't understand why you wouldn't go doit at C265 and leave this wiring in tact, unless you are planning something else like CommaAI, or crimping the factory female terminals on your new harness and inserting them into the IMPA connector.

Thank you for your reply. Im not planning to use WAGO splice blocks. Last time with C265 , i think i didnt locate the wire's correctly and ended up taking out the wrong wire :-(. Eventually when the truck didnt start , I ended up undoing everything.. which means i put those wires back in the connector and removed WAGO connector.

This time Im just planning to use Posi-Tap connector for connecting these wires to my wires.

Shit man, if you've already been there and figured out how C265 works, just pull out the correct wires and do it like everyone else has proven it works. You can do it. Don't cut any wires and you'll have a mod that doesn't alter anything factory.
