I have noticed since the last OTA update my 24 flash defaults back to normal driving mode after a restart even when selecting continue last driving mode. Previously it flashes up for about 5 sec if you dont hit continue last mode it will default back to normal. I usually drive in sport most of the time. Now even if I select continue in last driving mode it changes back to sport but after reversing out of my driveway when I put it in drive it defaults back to normal. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hmm, I've had 3 updates in as many days and so far so good (knock on wood) Reminds me of an old joke in circles back in the day about if M$ made a vehicle you had to open a window then it would crash. etc,, several variances and here we are knee deep in it, lol. 😂

Weird, the pop up is waaaay too fast imo, by the time I even notice it it's already gone and I gotta go back to controls. I like the accelerator mapping for sport but I like to mostly coast to a stop where possible. Kinda wish they'd tie the aggressive regen to it's own setting, might even let them skirt the DOT regs unless it remaps traction control.

Anyway, are you pushing it early in the window or late? Just curious cuz when I'm proactive about pressing it I haven't had a problem with keeping it on.

Second thing on my startup checklist. Push Start button, grab seatbelt with left hand, and punch the OK button with the right. I too like the regen drag in Sport mode, kinda like an old standard tranny

Yes I've tried pushing it as soon as it pops up and waiting till it almost disappears either way it just defaults back to normal mode. It only takes about 10 extra seconds to switch manually its just a minor annoyance.

It should just stay in the drive mode you left it in - ideally by driver profile. The only exception is off-road mode, which locks the differential and affects TCS. Most regions mandate that TCS be fully enabled at startup (ie. turn Off-Road mode off automatically.)
