The "All" is all the tabs in one location so I'm stumped why it was there and not in the SW Updates tab... I also confirmed this with the pesky GSM update that won't go away.

Agreed, except the GSM update is located in both places, as expected. The "IPC2" update wasn't.

I call it IPC2 because it seems vaguely familiar to the IPC update that I had applied only a short time earlier. But checking the contents of the USB file AFTER each application revealed the differences :

First IPC update (listed properly in FDRS)

The second IPC update, which is very similar but nested only to be seen when IPC module was selected in FDRS Toolbox

Notice the json file was written 11 minutes after the der & vbf file. I'm guessing that makes sense to you guys?
Also, actual vbf file between the two updates is very similar in size, but different filenames obviously.

These were 5 days apart. The first one was right at the time we were being advised to wait on the IPC update, although I had just done it.

Since the second one is not exactly the same, but almost,.... It suggests Ford released an altered update because of something wrong with the first one?

You need to look at your Driver seat module. That is the module that controls those and the heated and cooled seats along wit steering wheel. You may want to PMI the DSM.

I would be more concerned about getting it workingZ the as built corruption will fix itself eventually

That’s a pretty good question. But I’m not sure you have much choice at this point. But there are two flavors of PMI—one with the original module in place and one with a replacement module. Perhaps @Jesse-Infotainment can weigh in, but I think the original module method reconfigures the module based on local programming, not the cloud. You might want to start with this method.

Trying to update the latest APIM but keep getting download errors when trying to download the files to the computer. Any one know of a trick to get it to at least download the files to the computer. I have restarted the app a bunch.

Has anyone noticed that your truck doesn't handle lane centering as well as it should after updating all available modules?

Mine is bouncing between lane lines a bit more and my steering wheel feels ever so slightly off center compared to before the updates.

Here is the file that it keeps failing to download on the latest APIM update that is out there.

I feel like I should have a GWM update for this to work but nothing available for it. Seems to me every time I have done an APIM update I had to do a GWM for it to work. My GWM SW is at ML3T-14H021-EKK

I did a PMI on the GWM just to see if it would trigger an update but nothing.
Any help is appreciated.

Your GWM is correct. Are you sure the USB is formatted to exFAT and that it has no files on it?

Formatted correctly. This fails before even the usb part. This is when you first start the process and it downloads to the computer. It fails here. Then I say try again and then it asks for a usb. I format it then and then proceed with the retry and it attempts to download again from the server to the usb. There it fails like before. Hopefully this makes sense

What device are you using? Nano, Mongoose or other? Does the device stay connected (bottom right side of FDRS)? Is your WiFi connection strong and are you connected to 2.4g or 5G?

I luckily was able to get access to a VCM 3 so using that. Device stays connected from what I have seen. Wi-Fi is ok 2.4ghz and has seemed to work for all other updates (2-APIMs for example). I am going to get a long CAT 6 and wire directly to the computer to try it. I also have another computer I plan to try that is newer. Just won’t be able to do that until lunch time.
I will report back if the cat 6 or other computer work or not.
I did order a Mongoose to be able to use when ever I want since I can only borrow the VCM 3 here and there and not a lot. Is the mongoose really good to go and not causing corruption? I returned the nano already.

I have a job2 on the same version of Sync. I have not received any OTA updates other than a Blue Cruise update (Map Update). I don't believe they have released an OTA update for Sync on the job2 trucks.

The Mongoose is highly stable and no corruption!

Just make sure you run all of the diagnostics in the J2534 Toolbox that gets installed with the drivers before you use it the first time with FDRS.
