Yes, I'd like to get one too.
I was just bragging about it earlier to someone who saw that I had a different truck today.

As a new owner (4 months), and annoyed at Ford for canceling the BEV Lightning, I have only one real regret. I should have bought a Lariat or Platinum.

Love my “Collector Edition”
$250k truck that Ford sold me for under $70k with incentives (my first one was just over $100k and at that time it was a very good deal also) So…Feels like “Winning” to me and that’s my take. Feels good winning this kind of a deal every day to me. I’m thankful for Ford being a pioneer—-being an early adopter is not for the faint of heart in anything..!!

Hell yeah. Limited Collectors Edition. I wonder if someone has access to the exact number each truck was built, would complete the package.

This morning on my way to work, I was stopped at a light and a Rivian pulled up next to me. He looked over and had a stupid grin on his face. Normally I am proud to drive the Lightning, but the truth be told, I felt a little wave of embarrassment flood over me. Like I was driving a flop of a car. He turned right and I went straight.

Got me thinking, Americans tend to live through their cars. Got money, drive a luxury, off-roader a 4X4, adventurous a sports car...... What are you when you drive a cancelled car??

Dude i've got the Lariat and an R1S and I love driving the Lightning more than the R1S.. the luxe is better in the R1S as well as the software.. but the Lightning is just a great truck to drive.

If I was in OP's shoes, I would have assumed the Rivian driver was looking at the Lightning thinking about how messed up Rivian build quality and service is and how it would have been nice owning the Lightning.

My R1S has been in for service MANY times more then the lightning. The last service for the Rivian they replaced the steering wheel and put it on crooked!! Not to mention the same trim piece they have replaced 4 times now and it's still falling off!

I agree. Picked up a 2024 Lariat and now I wish I ordered a Platinum in hindsight, lol. Love this truck.

If you're the worlds richest man you can afford to let your personal ego go before common/business sense.
To cancel the CT would be the same as admitting you were wrong, and we all know that aint happening.

The best thing they could do is to take the CT platform and put a normal truck body on it, at that point I think their sales would increase quite a lot.
