I was just thinking about this the other night...drop the two setups into chatGPT and let it find it
I've tried that many times with different GPT levels and Grok and Gemini. They all hallucinate and make shit up. I'd be willing to try it again if I can get someone's as built directly off of their truck, but I am starting to have a feeling the APIM or DSP modules are different from Platinum to Lariat.

Propulsion sound settings are enabled in the APIM here:

Many have tried that and it doesn't work, I have the toggle on my screen but still no sound. If I hit the toggle, it turns the toggle on for two seconds, thinks about it, and then fails and turns itself off.

This is sounding a bit familiar now. I remember seeing this at some point, too. I think there's a hardware element to this. Some physical component that the higher trims have........I can't remember the exact details. I'm sure someone will chime in on it.

Historically, an APIM-enabled toggle that won’t stay on was due to missing hardware or older firmware. PPOB with truck off and IIRC BC Lane Change Assist did this until other modules were updated.

Can FORScan adjust GSM rotary shifter?. After problems with the OEM GSM on my Lariat (But no DTCs) I installed a new Mach-E rotary shifter. Car drives/shifts fine but there are network communication DYCs: U0203 from GSM, U0404 from ABS and instrument panel says Auto Hold System Fault. I noticed the ABS FORScan spreadsheet does show (760-02-02 xx*x xx—) Gear Shift Type (GST). But all choices read “Not Used). Is there anything That can be done to clear the DTC. (Currently will not clear). When I open the door in drive the shifter moves to Park__this may have been the predecessor to the Auro Hold System Fault. Fault remains after several drive cycles.

The rotary shifter from the Mach E doesn't fully work on the Lightning. I tried one and wrote up the results here about a year ago.
