Saw this message when starting the climate this morning to go shopping:

and since I do own a Lariat with the rear lightbar and an advance notice has been sent about it's inspection and replacement I was aware. So I clicked the link to see if the 'final' full TSB had been issued yet....and

Nah, it's just a crappy app. App logic is that there is an open service action, which is true. The fact that you can't close it wasn't something they coded.

Nah, it's just a crappy app. App logic is that there is an open service action, which is true. The fact that you can't close it wasn't something they coded.
True...but still you'd think they could code the system so that only final full recall notifications are send to customers using the app...and not 'advance notices' that aren't final yet (due to lack of available parts).

You'll get people calling their dealerships only to be told that they can't bring it in yet....

You'll get people calling their dealerships only to be told that they can't bring it in yet....
They have to send the letters out too.

Ford has been doing that for decades, don't look for them to stop. There were plenty of times customers came to my dealer asking about things like this and we didn't know anything about it at the time.

I left the dealer over 20 years ago.

You would think that since they stopped production they would have some parts. Lightbar recall was issued is October 2025, but nice to know the app cares.

I got it too. Consider it like spam. ignor. But.... the recall was issued on Oct 29. Why has it taken 2 1/2 months for Ford to get parts? don't answer that unless your FORD

I got that pop-up the other day, but ignore it since I was already aware.

I access the FORD.COM site logged in and checked my Lightnings vitals, it's showing the recall with the details screen confirming that the remedy (parts) are not available yet and that a subsequent reminder will be sent, as has been that case previously, hard copy coming in the mail for initial notification, then months later when parts were available to schedule a visit.

While in Ford App, service tab I see the following, and the "Remedy" section is blank, I'd prefer they repeat the same information is found in the WEB portal than leaving it blank.

The actual bulletin said something along the lines of "More information coming in Q1 26"
