Frunk won't close

Frunk wasn't fully closed(latched) because of how the suitcase was positioned so i wasn't able to open it via Key Fob. i was able to open it manually, it opened, BUT now i'm not able to close it via Key Fob. It just gives a couple of beeps.

after reading through solutions, i read that i can force to close it and then try to open via Key Fob. Opening the Frunk via key Fob now works.

question is, i know for sure i've read somewhere that i can reset(?) the manual latch from the frunk BUT i cannot seem to find it anywhere. im half guessing i found that post on this forum but i cannot find the thread.

You can open it with the FOB but not close it? Have you looked in the Owner's Manual?

This has happened to me several times. Last week my frunk would go down but not fully latch and I would have to lean on it to get it to go down and latch. It would open and then didn't go down. So I pulled it down manually until it latched and then it would open and close normally. It is like it doesn't know where it is at in the cycle and needs to be reset. Haven't had to use the manual release yet.

Open the frunk manually. Press and hold the button on the frunk lid until it beeps (5-10 seconds). Then close the frunk manually, gently, until the latch takes it. This will reset the up/down positions on the frunk controller, and if nothing physical is out of whack, it should start working again.

thank you. i am still looking for the video or post or article that indicated after pulling the manual release for the frunk, there is something somewhere in the Frunk that you have to reset for the manual release cord.

The manual release is spring-loaded. It will reset after pulling it (twice).

I had to take my truck to the dealer. They had to perform an update.
