Interesting choice of words, did they indicate what was "damaged"? I assume they found a bad cell in Array 9...

You are right. Array/module 8 is NOT damaged. It was overheating. Either way something bad happened that it needs replacement

UPDATE 2:
Went to pick up my loaner today (Mache E). Dealer let me see my dropped battery. Said the Lightning batteries are easy to drop and service while the Mach E are a pain. Extremely happy with my service team.
The parts are in and hopefully my vehicle will be complete as early as Friday.
