I've only received one update ota since June. Truck sits outside but under a steel carport.

My 22 Lightning Lariat SR Sync system will not connect to my Wifi.
Every device I have will except my truck!
What gives Ford? Does anyone know why and how to fix this issue?

I just moved to a new home that has really poor cellular service. I haven’t yet setup WiFi at the new house. I noticed that I can’t even remote start the truck via the app because it seems the truck can’t receive the signal over cellular. So I’m really hoping that when I do setup WiFi later this week I’ll be able to 1. Remote start and 2. Get OTA’s via WiFi.

Probably neither. Both require cellular connection. You might want to consider a cell booster.

Mark is right, you're hosed with no cell connection.

Well that's fun. I'll try a few different parking positions but if that doesn't help I guess I'll look into something like this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL68VH5X?ref=emc_p_m_5_i_atc&th=1
I mean the ratings are kinda low but pretty much what you're looking for, it needs to be AT&T compatible. Personally I use a Cel-Fi Go X G32. Although I'd classify it as very expensive, it's also very good at it's job. Went from can't hold a phone call to using a setup Hotspotāž”Macāž”Router giving internet to my whole house at 100 Mbps for 2 years. Until Verizon got pissed at my data usage anyway. But it is, as near as I can tell, compatible with all US and Canadian carriers.
