Hey all. I completed all forscan steps and have the green icon. I haven’t been able to tell yet since the high beams haven’t had to engage yet.
I’ve seen in the ICE forum that this mod may not work any longer for 24 and 25’s. Does anyone have knowledge if that is true and if so, a solution?

The ICE trucks had headlight hardware changes in '24, they couldn't activate. The Lightning still worked. You may be the first test case with a '25.. I don't know if there were hardware changes or not.

To test you need to be on dark road and drive above 35 MPH. When you meet another car you can see the light pattern changes.

I can confirm the mod works on my '24 Pro. I agree with @GDN , I don't think anything with the headlights changed for 2025 so it should still work. Sounds like you get to be the test case for 2025.

2024 Lariat, was able to enable glare free using forscan. Difference you'll see is on your dash, I believe the regular auto highbeam symbol is white with an A whereas the glare free is green with an A. Or vice versa. I can't remember since the days got longer and night doesn't fall on me till 9pm, lol.

This plus living in an urban suburban area is my problem. I can’t get fast enough or dark enough. I guess it’s gonna be time for a back woods drive.

Curious if you were ever able to test this. I have a 2025 Flash and just tried setting up the glare free lights through Forscan. I get the green ‘A’ in the dash and the glare free option in the menu but when I took my car out on a dark road last night the lights were acting no different than auto high beams. When an oncoming car was coming all the high beams shut off all at once.

I am hoping that I didn’t do something right and this is not a change they made with the 2025s.

Sure did. Works decent. Need to be over 30 for a few and dark enough without a huge incline or decline and it should kick on.

Assuming I have the PC/software and dongle, how difficult was this specific mod?

I believe the true answer is in your own "self-assessment" of software/reading/editing comprehension. Overall, I would categorize it as "high-basic to low-moderate".

The emphasis will always be on saving backups before editing and making sure the steps are precise before writing to modules.

Here is the main forum thread - https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/f150-lightning-forscan-thread-version-2.23634/

If you feel nervous beforehand, watch some youtube vids on introduction to FORScan...and read some of the posts (thread above) where users have shared their mistakes.

I have both symbols, but they are not right next to each other like I have seen in most photos and videos.
Revert to your previous configuration and try again. While making the requisite changes have a copy of the spreadsheet open so you can verify the changes you are making make sense. You'll figure it out.
