How To: Front Light Bar on Lightning Pro

Does someone have a back-up of the firmware for LDCMA without the Light Bar? My car seems to have the Light Bar firmware installed in LDCMA, so my left DRL is not lighting up and I have a code for an open circuit for the signature lamps. I have a PRO btw, no light bar from factory.

You should be able to use forscan to download the factory firmware for your VIN

Hello, New to the forum and just got a 2022 pro. Installed the light bar no problem and took it to my dealer to get it working. They initially said they could do it but then they told me that forescan 2.4 had been locked down so they couldn’t get in there and make the changes. They said forescan had locked access down to only engineers because too many people were bricking or something like that. Does that make sense? Is there anyone in the Dallas area that I could contact for help? Thanks.

I'm surprised a dealer is even willing to use FORScan, but not the point. The beta version of FORScan is the one that they kinda stopped supporting, but you can still get it. You'd need to buy the license and email FORScan support and they will send you a link to download it. I'm not sure what the process entails for the light bar, but unless different firmware is required, the regular version of FORScan will suffice.

Forscan became unavailable in the U.S.A. Due to the increased Russia sanctiions. The developers are Russian based. Here's the current link to purchase one year license via Paypal. FORScan
