Glad you asked ...... Yes, it is a "Factory Built" race bike, one of approx. 650 units built in 2006.
It was designed and spec'd for what was briefly the "Destroyer" Specification Class in AHDRA.

The bike came with all the kit for a full on out of the crate drag bike, including a MSO with restrictions for race track only use, can not be titled/registered for street use.

Fun Fact: The VROD is the bastard step brother of all models of Harley, kinda how we Lightning owners are looked upon by the ICE brotherhood.......

We were subjected to spec. configuration, of as factory built 1300 cc's, compression, cams, fuel type, weight etc. Over time the number of participants diminished and the bikes got modified in all ways to the point that folks were racing in multiple classes, ET, MOD, PRO-ET, SuperGas, etc.....
