Ford F-150 Lightning Lightship introduces the PowerSled powered utility trailer width=1200&upscale=true&name=PowerSled_Header_V1_3
We've spent the last 5 years meticulously proving our core propulsion and energy technology across thousands of miles of real terrain, real conditions and real loads. And it turns out that tech has applications well beyond the AE.1.

Today we introduce PowerSled, our key technology stripped back to its core, and dialed up for commercial use. With up to 240 kWh of usable battery capacity, 38 kW of continuous power output and 8,700 lbs of payload capacity –– without the need for a commercial license.

When you build the right technology, the applications have a way of multiplying. From company fleets and job sites to emergency response, or a blank platform for something entirely your own, PowerSled is configurable to whatever the job demands.

Explore the full range of what PowerSled can do.

PowerSled is one flexible platform built to adapt across a range of applications. Each shares the same underlying energy architecture, towable form factor, and TrekDrive advantage.

I agree, the rental business is probably the only way to justify paying for it. The concept is great, especially when battery costs come down further.
