Likin my Lightning... Electrify classic car?

I am a Hot Rdder, been putting air shocks, Fat tires, and loud mufflers on since I was 16. Remember Baling hay all summer to pay for my first set of Goodyear Polyglas G-60s. I now have my favorite Hot Rod. This one has made me money instead of taking it all. No Gas, no oil changes, 0% financing, only 42 payments left.
My question is What Classic do I electrify? I do mostly Cougars, have a couple Mustangs, working on 62 Mercury Monterey Convertible Resto-Mod Shelby S C 5.4.
Been looking at some 51, 53, IHC cause Dad had one.. Have a 46 Ford pickup, 79 Ranchero. Any ideas?

Definitely the Ranchero. Lots of space between those frame rails for a battery.

Definitely doable and easier than you'd think, RWD is likely to be the easiest and most cost efficient by far though. Weight and appearance (hiding the batteries) would be my biggest considerations. Like was mentioned, a ute would be my prime candidate.

There are a few companies that are popping up with conversion kits. One off the top of my head is Legacy EV; they did a video with two former Donut hosts to convert a Japanese Kei truck to an EV drivetrain. Other paths would be taking a salvaged EV and transplanting the parts into your platform; but that would involve fooling/modifying the computer like the person in the Mach-E forums.

My wife's dream car is a '67 Mustang but doesn't want to deal with all the ICE stuff. Told her we could convert to EV and she got excited! Hoping we can find a decent shell in the next few years and get our hands on a decent conversion kit. I think I saw a Mustang-centric conversion kit posted around here but can't find it.

get me a '65 Mustang Convertible v8 289 4bl 4-on-the-floor Hurst shifter and Edelbrock carb... oh wait... we won't need a carb in the eVersion : ) oh well... put one on, just in case : )

Metallic Flake Orange Sickle... with pony Black interior/carpet... heated/cooled seats, Auto Windows, Auto top... wait, make that a convertible HARD top : ) replace the tach with the battery SOC, and replace the clock with Sport mode, Cruise mode, or Burn Rubber mode options... : )

oh, by the way... have the body shop 'blank out' this amazing machine just like this one...
replace the door handles with 'invisible' ones... just saying...
