I have a few lingering issues with my 2022 Lariat and would like to get suggestions of what to look for;

1. One rim seems to lose 5-7lbs of air over time. I am on the third tire on this rim and have had the valve stem replaced. Other than a leak around the bead, could this be a defective rim?

2. Although nowhere near the brake wear warning limit, when driving (slowly) near a wall (in a straight line) I can hear an oscillating scraping sound in what I think is the right front. Additionally, the rotors do not exhibit warping under braking. Any thoughts on what this might be?

I had a rock or some sort of road debris get stuck between the pad and the rotor once. Sounded like I was driving an old rusty truck. Dealer took a look but by they time they got it up to look there was nothing there. Tech did note there was a scrape on the rotor that indicated something got stuck and was scraping for at least a little while.

Yes. Has it been hit?

I once had a car with four tires that refused to hold air over long periods of time. In my case it was wheel corrosion due to '90s GM quality. The solution was to essentially glue the bead on the wheel, though I'm not sure what this process is called or what product the tire shop used.

Corrosion definitely isn't your problem but this might be a solution if you can't get the wheel replaced under warranty.

Have that wheel pulled off and check for a hairline crack on the back of the wheel. I had this on my 2019 150. It took forever to finally figure it out. Clearly, this was a defect… but good ole Ford would not replace the rim. How the heck would a crack develop on the back of a wheel? Bizarre…had to be defective.
